The Illinois
USBC Youth Association offers scholarships each year to reward outstanding youth bowlers, providedthey meet the following eligibility requirements:
1. Candidates must be amateur as defined by the USBC. Only those who have
not bowled for money or
merchandise prizes in accordance with USBC eligibility rule 400 are eligible.
2. The applicant must be 16-21 years of age as of August 1
st . USBC members only.3. Awards are given in the amounts of 1
st $1500; 2nd $700; 3rd $300 each for male and female4. Applicant must have been a YABA/USBC member in Illinois for four years.
5. Additional funds may be awarded to boy and girl recipients.
6. Judging is based equally on bowling accomplishments, scholastic ability and community involvement.
